Janusz stabbing Leaked prison audio

LEAKED AUDIO of an alleged inmate to his friend regarding the stabbing of Chris Hani’s killer Janusz Walus is out.

According to the leaked audio, Janusz was stabbed badly on the leg and was rushed to the nearest hospital under police guard.

Whenever theres movement or talks around the release and parole of Chris Hanis murderers, they (Janusz and Clive) mysteriously get stabbed and it happened most of the time. In 2014 it was alleged Janusz Walus and Clive Derby-Lewis were stabbed because of a “racial attack”, just after when both were seeking parole. Same story AGAIN

Decline in Easter weekend road fatalities 2022

The preliminary statistics for the Easter weekend shows that the number of crashes declined by 28.6% resulting in a 31.5% decline in Easter weekend road fatalities 2022 on South African roads.

“A total of 162 people perished on our roads this year compared to 235 last year, resulting from 134 fatal crashes this year compared to 189 the previous year. Most of the crashes occurred on Friday and Saturday,” Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula has said.

The Minister made these comments during the release of the preliminary statistics for the recent Easter weekend where he also provided an update on the driver licence extension of the grace period.

“The success we have achieved this Easter will add momentum to our efforts to reduce road fatalities by 25% by 2024.  Improving our law enforcement capability and visibility, as well as upscaling public safety campaigns will continue to gain traction.

“We have made a commitment to make a telling difference in our law enforcement interventions by ensuring that our officers act without fear or favour while maintaining constant high levels of visibility 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” the Minister said at a media briefing at the Grasmere Toll Plaza.

Mbalula said all provinces recorded a decline in fatalities, except for the Western Cape and Mpumalanga.

The Western Cape recorded a 30.8% increase from 26 fatalities in 2021 to 34 this year while Mpumalanga recorded a 27.8% increase from 18 road fatalities the previous year to 23 this year.

Other provinces recorded a decline in road fatalities in the following manner:

  • KwaZulu-Natal registered a 61.1% decline from 54 road deaths the previous year to 21 this year.
  • Northern Cape registered a 57.1% decline from seven road fatalities the previous year to three this year.
  • Free State registered a 53.8% decline from 13 deaths the previous year to six this year.
  • North West registered a 45% decline from 20 deaths the previous year to 11 this year.
  • Limpopo registered a 44.1% decline from 34 deaths the previous year to 19 this year.
  • Gauteng registered a 33.3% decline from 36 deaths the previous year to 24 this year.
  • Eastern Cape registered a 25.9% decline from 27 deaths the previous year to 20 this year.

“Our analysis shows that while the trend of fatalities per time of the day continues to show that most fatalities occur at night, a new phenomenon was noted this Easter with fatalities showing a sharp spike in the early hours of the morning between 4am and 5am,” the Minister said.

This includes the bus crash that occurred on the N1 near Leeu Gamka on Good Friday.

A total of 2 395 traffic fines were issued for speeding this year compared to 5 923 last year while 3 494 motorists were fined for operating unlicensed vehicles compared to 5 677 the previous year.

Meanwhile, 2 134 drivers were fined for driving without fastening seatbelts this year compared to 2 351 the previous year. –SAnews.gov.za

Sibongile Mani [NSFAS 14m] 73 days before arrest, parole and death answers.

Sibongile Mani
A theft of greed not need has landed student Sibongile Mani with five years’ imprisonment when she failed to report that R14 million was accidentally transferred into her account.

Walter Sisulu University (WSU) student Sibongile Mani was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment for theft when R14 million was accidentally transferred to her account by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) in 2017.

Mani received a food allowance from the NSFAS; however, she was only entitled to R1 400 and failed to report when R14 million was incorrectly transferred into her account. So instead, she embarked on a spending spree. Within hours, Mani had spent more than R20,000, and she had splurged more than R800,000 before her account was frozen. This spending spree landed her five years in jail.

Will Sibongile be out on parole?

After serving one-third of the five-year sentence, Mani will be eligible for parole and could finish the rest of the five years under correctional supervision. The court considered that Mani was a first-time offender; however, “The only appropriate sentence is direct imprisonment, and you are therefore sentenced to five years’ imprisonment,” said judge Olivier.

Responding to the defence’s argument that the court should not end Mani’s bright future, Olivier told Mani: “You, and only yourself, made that decision on 1 June 2017; you did so repeatedly, for 73 consecutive days, numerous times per day.”
“You were rushing against time to spend the maximum amount before it’s spoilt or brought to [an end]. So you took those conscious decisions every day, not the court,” said Olivier.

Olivier said 585 students who relied on NSFAS funds to study at WSU would have been unfair if IntelliMali, a Cape Town-based company in charge of allocating NSFAS funds to students, had not paid back the money she used to WSU.
She also noted the money was “not spent on essential items to stay alive. It was inspired by greed, not need”.

So what did Sibongile Mani spent the money on?

It was discovered that she spent over R800,000 on alcohol, cigarettes, blankets, clothes for men, jackets, handbags, furniture, beauty products, and groceries at a supermarket in a period of two months.

She also reportedly spent the money at 48 retail stores in different towns.
As a result, Mani was arrested in May 2018 by the Serious Commercial Crime Unit of the Hawks after IntelliMali opened a case of theft. She was charged with failing to report the error and embarked on a spending spree, blowing more than R800 000 in 73 days. The State charged that between 1 June, when the money landed in her account, to 13 August, when NSFAS found out about the error, she had spent an average of R11 000 per day. R11 000 per day that did not belong to her.

Did Sibongile Mani killed hersef?

No, Sibongile Mani is alive and well, is just that she is now behind bars. There is a fake headline on social media claiming that Sibongile commited suicide, yet there are no formal reports of Sibongile’s death or funeral atleast.
